Rincón de La Vieja is the first mountain bike race that travels 100 miles throughout Latin America. It is the only race in the world that turns an active volcano around. This, like no other event on the planet, is the only one to elude 100 miles around the Rincon de La Vieja, an active volcano. Mystical and sacred land of the ancient Curubandé tribe. In 1999 this area was declared as a World Heritage Site by the Unesco. It is a test of mental and physical endurance while experiencing the diversity of five microclimates.

This is definitely the most important event in the history of surfing in Costa Rica, first because it is going to distribute more than $130,000 between the two categories men and women. And secondly for the quality of elite athletes that will meet at the same time in the same event in our country and last but not least, we will promote our waves, our athletes and our country in the most important platform of the world surfing, The World Surf League.
